Care Instructions

Roehouse Collective scrunchies and scarves can be washed! With proper care, your items will remain beautiful. Here are our recommended ways of washing your adornments:

HOW TO HAND WASH (Highly Recommended)

1. Separate lights and dark colors from each other to wash separately. This prevents color transfer.
2. Place your scrunchies or scarves in a large bowl or in the sink and add warm water.
3. Add in a few drops of laundry detergent or hair shampoo (shampoo recommended) and mix into the water with your hand.
4. Wash with your hands thoroughly. Ensure that you rub with your finger tips or palms, not your nails which could snag the delicate fabric.
5. Rinse the detergent or shampoo off completely.
6. Dry: Lay the scrunchie or scarf on top of a towel or hang to dry.

 

HOW TO MACHINE WASH

1. Do not place the scrunchies or scarves alone into the machine.
2. Place your item(s) in a mesh laundry bag or empty pillow case.
3. Select the delicate or hand wash cycle with warm or cold water.
4. Dry: Hang to dry.
